Bilingual Classes (BLIC)

BLIC

Our bilingual classes have teachers who either grew up in English-speaking countries or have lived and worked there for several years. All the teaching in Junior Class and in Grade 1 is in English. Teaching in Swedish is introduced after these first two years, rising to 50 percent in Grade 3 until Grade 9.

The BLIC programme is aimed at students who are bilingual (Swedish and English) at the time when they start school. Most of our students use the two languages at home and/or have been attending other English speaking schools where they have learnt English on an advanced level prior to applying to BLIC.
