Cambridge Exams in Science and Mathematics for Years 7, 8 & 9

All our Grade 7, 8 and 9 students have the opportunity to study for Cambridge IGCSE Exams in the Science subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, as well as for Mathematics. To be accepted to apply for the Cambridge Exams a student must show evidence of high ability in any of these subjects to their Science or Mathematics teacher. If their subject teacher recognises the student’s talent and drive for any one of these subjects, the subject teacher will recommend the student to the Cambridge Exams Officer.

Students will maintain their normal Swedish Curriculum subject standards while studying extra for the Cambridge exams ouside of regular school hours and the examinations are also given outside regular school hours and on top of the national Swedish curriculum. Students have the opportunity to meet once or twice a week for guidance on how to prepare for the exams that will be held during October/November and May/June each year.

To study for the Cambridge exams is demanding studies at international standards, but could be precisely what you require if you are already self-driven to achieve academically high results. The Cambridge Examinations will give you knowledge in the Science and Mathematics subjects at world standards for your age. The Cambridge examinations are also university entrance examinations which, together with the higher A-Level examinations, can gain you entrance to the world’s leading universities.
