Application to Bilingual Class or English Class

On this page you can apply for school place for your child/children at Kvarngärdet School, Uppsala International School.

Prior to applying, please read the following regarding our different programmes.

BiLingual International Class (BLIC)

This programme is aimed at students who are bilingual (Swedish and English) at the time when they start school. Most of our students are native English speakers and they all use English at home on a daily basis and/or have been attending other English speaking schools where they have learnt English on an advanced level prior to applying to BLIC.

If your child meets the above criteria, you are welcome to apply to our BLIC programme on this webpage. You also need to apply at Mitt Skolval

English Class

Our English class is for students in Grade Junior class (förskoleklass) until Grade 4. The students in this class do not speak Swedish, and they are only here to stay for a short limited time. Students of parents doing research at the university are prioritized to this class.

If your child is eligible to the English Class you are welcome to apply on this webpage. You also need to apply at Mitt Skolval.

Swedish Classes

You are also welcome to apply to our ordinary Swedish classes (up to Grade 5). You do this at Uppsala webpage Mitt Skolval without using this form.
